Water, drop and freeze resistant measuring tablets

FJDynamics UA80 and D10 are rugged Android tablets for field use. The UA80 has an 8-inch display and the D10 has a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. They have enough power and memory (6Gb/128Gb) to run all Android applications, and their large display gives more possibilities for using detailed CAD images in RTK measurements. An additional memory slot is microSDHC (up to 128 Gb). The operating temperature range is -20 C – +60C and the weight is 656 gr/880 gr (UA80/D10, respectively). The protection class is IP67 / IP68 (UA80 / D10, respectively) and the devices can withstand a drop from a height of 1.2 meters onto a hard surface. Both have an 8 Pix front camera and a 16 Mpix rear camera. The operating time on a full battery is 6 hours for the D10 and 8 hours for the UA80.

D10 also works as an RTK device

The D10 has connectors on the back cover for attaching an RTK module (G10). The RTK module can also be purchased later. The module includes a short antenna, which is attached to the module with an SMA connector. The antenna can be replaced with a normal dish antenna, which allows the device to be used as a large-screen “normal” RTK receiver with a measuring pole.
