An automatic water level monitoring system – EWLR-101 – is used to collect data on the height of the water column and the temperature of the borehole. The system has an absolute water level sensor with a cable and an automatic data acquisition device (data logger) with the necessary data retrieval options. The data logger is programmed to automatically record water level / pressure data from 5 seconds to 168 hours. Data can be transferred via the built-in GSM / GPRS modem or downloaded to a laptop / mobile phone in the field via Bluetooth or cable. The EWLR-101 constantly monitors water levels in distances in near real time and also sends alerts via text message and email. This solution provides researchers and decision makers with quick access to comprehensive groundwater information in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
